Fiber optic concrete, also known as translucent concrete, embeds thousands of optical fibers into a fine-grain concrete or ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) mix. These fibers transmit natural or artificial light from one side of the panel to the other, creating a glowing, starry effect while maintaining the structural strength of solid concrete.
